Dr. Justine Blainey-Broker
Dr. Justine
Blainey-Broker is "that girl" recognized for removing sexual
discrimination in sport from the Ontario Human Rights Code before the age
of 15. Today Dr. Justine is a Chiropractor, a wife, a mother of two and a
warrior for health and wellness. She is an active community volunteer,
working with Excelsiors Lacrosse and Brampton Womens Hockey. Dr. Justine
is also a popular motivational speaker at schools, York University, local
businesses and charities. She believes that everyone deserves a healthcare
team that focuses on prevention, optimal health and open communication. As
a chiropractor, I am blessed with the opportunity to help families in our

Dr. Steven Gillis
Dr. Steve Gillis
completed his undergraduate education in 1994 receiving a Bachelor of
Physical Education from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Dr.
Steve furthered his studies finishing his post-graduate education at the
Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where he received his
Doctor of Chiropractic and graduated as class valedictorian in 1999.
Throughout his high school and university athletics Dr. Steve was a
nationally ranked track and field athlete in the long jump. Profesionally,
Dr. Steve has practiced in Sydney, Australia and Hagersville, Ontario and
since April 2001 has been with the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre. Dr.
Steve is certified in Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) in the spine,
upper and lower extremity modules. Currently Dr. Steve is the team
chiropractor for the McMaster Marauders Varsity Swim Team, the McMaster
Triathlon Club and the Mississauga Ice Dogs.

Shauna Roe
Shauna
graduated from Lakehead University with Honours. Her Bachelors degree is
in Kinesiology with a minor in Gerontology. She also has a Bachelor of
education from the University of Windsor. She enjoys playing beach
volleyball, skiing, snowboarding and swimming. Also spends her free time
teaching Aqua fit for the City of Brampton.

David Blainey
David
graduated from Queen’s University, Honours Bachelor of Commerce. His early
career was with Price Waterhouse Coopers consulting: Financial Services.
He is a partner in the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre responsible for
finances, accounting, human resources, real estate and future planning.
His interests include hockey, mountain biking and snow boarding.

Caroline Blainey
BA
Math/English from the University of Toronto, MA English, U of T, MEd
Administration, OISIE. Caroline is Canadian by way of Holland, Aruba and
Curacao. She is a retired math teacher and is currently the property
manager and bookkeeper at the Justine Blainey Wellness Centre. Caroline is
Oma to Dr. Justine and Dr. Blake’s Theo and Hanna.

Carolyn Prce
Carolyn
graduated from the massage therapy program at Georgian College in June
2008 and has been a member of the Justine Blainey Wellness team since
November 2008. Carolyn loves sports and staying fit and in shape. She has
been a competitive cheerleader for 8 years, winning National Championships
both in Canada and the US.
She offers Swedish massage at the clinic for relaxation as well as
therapeutic and pain management treatments. She looks forward to the
opportunity to help you!

Andrew Pattenden Andrew
has been a Registered Massage Therapist for just over 10 years. Andrew
also obtained a degree in History prior to becoming a massage therapist.
Andrew’s interest in Paramedical professions stemmed from a fall at the
age of thirteen that put him in rehabilitation for 6 months. This
ultimately led him to his career focused on providing care for others. His
interests include music, reading and history.

Cassandra Sarvis
 Cassandra Sarvis- Exam Technician - graduated from the University of Lethbridge, Alberta, with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise science. Loves rock climbing, snowboarding, boarding, wheelchair basketball, cooking, and international backpacking. |
David Chung
David Chung - Acupuncturist. David got his training both in Canada and abroad. David specializes in acupuncture as well as Tuina which is a form of hands on body treatment often used in conjunction with acupuncture. Another service David offers is the Ion Detoxification foot bath which works to rebalance the body’s bio energy fields and cleanse your body of toxins. |
Laura Smith
Laura Smith completed her Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph, and she is now a certified kinesiologist. Laura is also certified by CALA to teach Aquafit. Laura enjoys swimming, bike riding and skating.
